The Cecilian Singers began in the spring of 1996 as an extension of the voice studio of Michele Hupaelo.  It quickly grew to become an amateur community mixed chorus of great versatility and talent.

With a membership of approximately 30 singers drawn from all walks of life, the choir performs choral music in a wide variety of styles of genres, including sacred, secular, spirituals and musical theatre repertoire. Our main focus is producing two major concerts each year, as well as singing at community events, various church services and private functions.

The Cecilian Singers has been awarded the prize for best choir at the provincial level of the Saskatchewan Music Festival, and were also chosen from choirs across the province to be part of the Saskatchewan Choral Federation’s Centennial celebration CD, Land of the Singing Skies.

The choir has performed Faure's Requiem, Mozart's Coronation Mass, portions of Handel's Messiah, and Vivaldi's Gloria with Prairie Virtuosi.
